Several Cannon County residents participated in the 2013 Tennessee Cattleman’s Convention Youth Events held this past Thursday in Murfreesboro. Gabby Pack, Bre’Anna O’Neal, Hannah Nave, John House, Madison Duke, Dylan Sweeney, Amelia Higgins and Paul Steelman participated in the Beef Quiz bowl competition which tested participants knowledge regarding subject matter related to the National and State Beef Industries. Emily Nave and Bryson Bell participated in the beef scavenger hunt where they were required to canvass the vast trade show in search of knowledge related to the beef industry. Emily Nave placed first in the scavenger hunt competition.
