The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is set to collect items for Back to School kits for kids Kindergarten through fifth grade through July 22nd The United Way is seeking corporate and community partners to engage as public or internal collection sites for this year’s Stuff the Bus.
This year, the United Way has increased its goal to 2015 Back to School kits in 2015. This will increase the number of children reached by nearly 25 percent over last year. The items collected during this year’s Stuff the Bus will provide children in Rutherford and Cannon Counties the resources needed to begin the school year confident and prepared for success.
