Thomas Michael “Mike” Allen, age 67, of Woodbury passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Webb House of Smithville. He was born to his parents, Tom & Ladye Hancock Allen on December 29, 1955 in Denver, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Bush Allen of Woodbury; Children, Christy (Brad) Prater of Woodbury & Matt (Melissa) Allen of Readyville; Grandchildren, Micah & Liv Prater & Maddie & Anniston Allen; and his Sister, Lynne Allen Jackson of Auburntown. Several nieces & nephews also survive.
Mike was a deacon, songleader, and a Sunday school teacher for the Prosperity Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and listening to music and working with old cars and trucks. Mike retired from General Electric as a maintenance supervisor and was an electrical inspector.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Roger Hudson, Bro. David Moody, & Bro. Thurman Seber officiating. Interment will follow at Prosperity Cemetery. The family will receive friends for the visitation from 4 PM to 8 PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Woodbury Funeral Home
