T.J. Southworth, 41, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2022 in Gassaway, Tn. He was born in Columbus, MT.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jamie Southworth of Liberty; sons, Jameson, Tyler, Waylon and Lane Southworth all of Liberty; special friend to his sons, Delaney Aycock; father, Thomas N. Southworth of Ashdown, AR.; siblings, Toni Henderson, Tonya (Scott) Eades all of Woodbury, Tom (Jenny) Southworth of Centertown; nieces and nephews, Garrett (Ashley) Hobbs, Hunter (Maddie) Eades and Bethaney Eades, J.W and Jadon Henderson, Landyn, Brandyn and Kendra Murphy, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Melody, Emmaly and Tommy Southworth; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Teresa and Chris Davenport of Woodbury and sister-in-law, Jessica Murphy. Numerous close friends and extended family also survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelia Field; father-in-law, Dennis Johnson; his grandparents, Peggy and Jay Field and Joe and Mary Southworth.
A member of the Experience church of Cannon Co., T.J. worked in Security at Ascension Stones River. He was formally an EMT with Cannon and Dekalb Co, a volunteer fireman with Moretown Fire Dept and Cannon County Rescue Squad.
T.J. loved coaching his sons in all the sports they were involved in from T-ball, baseball and football. He loved making memories with his family and friends. You would find him sitting around a fire, laughing and cutting up with everyone. His son’s friends were considered his own. He loved the beach, going to the mountains and people watching with his mother-in-law at Dollywood. He made the best memories with the people that meant the most to him.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Wood Cemetery with Bro. Josh Brooker officiating.
Visitation with his family will be from 3 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
