The hunt is on for a 2003 Blue Dodge Durango after the vehicle was reported stolen Sunday. According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Reports, Sgt. Melanie McCormick was dispatched to a Big Holl Road residence in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival Sgt. McCormick spoke to Dustin Sissom who stated that on Saturday he went to the residence to visit his father. Mr. Sissom state that his father was not there so he left. After passing the entrance to the Cannon County Walking Horse Association property he noticed his father was sitting in his own vehicle there. Mr. Sissom stated that he pulled in and talked to his father and his father stated that he was going to Smithville and asked Dustin if he wanted to ride with him. Dustin then stated that he left the truck at the entrance of the CCWHA unlocked with the keys in the glove box. As the Sissoms returned from Smithville, Dustin stated he did not stop to pick up his vehicle but stated it was still parked there.
