Rolling Through Stop Sign Results In 3rd Time Driving On Suspended

A man who performed an incomplete stop at the intersection of Iconium Road and Jim Cummings Highway recently was arrested for driving on a suspended license 3rd offense.  According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Department reports Deputy Mike Hainey observed a pickup truck driven by Manuel Quezada roll through a stop at the intersection.  Upon conducting a traffic stop, Deputy Hainey found out Quezada didn’t understand English so he explained the reasoning for the stop in Spanish.  After asking for Quezada’s license, Quezada informed him by speaking English and said that he did not have a drivers license and handed the deputy a medical card.  Quezada provided registration but failed to provide proof of insurance.  After running his name and date of birth, Deputy Hainey learned that Quezada’s license had been suspended for Failure to Satisfy a Citation.  He also had two previous driving on suspended charges.  Deputy Hainey arrested Quezada and charged him with Driving on Suspended 3rd offense, Failure to stop and financial responsibilty
