Norma Dean Hollandsworth, age 92, of Woodbury passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at Woodbury Health & Rehab. She was a native of the Gassaway Community.
She is survived by her children, Joan & Glen Prater, Stan & Sandy Hollandsworth, & Lisa Jones, all of Woodbury; Daughter-in-law, Betty Faye Hollandsworth of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Cynthia & Don Taylor, Michelle Prater, Stephanie & Mark Vance, Michael & Samanthia Hollandsworth, Shane & Jessica Hollandsworth, & Daniel Jones; Great Grandchildren, Eden (Michael) Baxter, Emily (Luke) Alexander, Reese, Ryder, & Renley Vance, Everett, Emersyn, & Edie Shae Hollandsworth; Great Great Grandchildren, Liam Baxter & Adalynn Alexander; Brother, Thomas & Betty Grizzle of Nashville; and Sister-in-law, Miles Womack of Woodbury.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milligan Hollandsworth; Parents, Robert & Virgin Hancock Grizzle; Son, Phil Hollandsworth; Siblings, Hazel Smith & Maurene Grizzle; and Great Granddaughter, Cadence Hollandsworth.
Mrs. Hollandsworth was a seamstress at Colonial Corporation and was a cook for Woodbury Grammar School & the Cannon County Senior Citizen’s Center. She enjoyed sowing & quilting and loved to read.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4 until 9 PM & from 9 AM until the time of service Thursday.
Pallbearers will include Michael & Shane Hollandsworth, Daniel Jones, Don Taylor, Mark Vance, Michael Baxter, & Luke Alexander.
