The Cannon County Lions football team will close out the 2014 season tonight as they fight to stay out of the bottom of the district. That’s been the spot the Lions have been in since the 2010 season. Their opponent tonight the Upperman Bees have been in the cellar right along with the Lions until a break out year last year The Bees are right back in the hunt for last place this year though as their district record is 0-5 but their overall record is 4-5 for the season. The game is in Baxter tonight meaning it’s Senior Night for Upperman but a win tonight by the Lions would have them finish the district at 2-4.
