An armed robbery late Thursday afternoon ended up with a business owner shot and in the hospital. Rick Ferrell of Leland’s Furniture & Home Decor Consignmenton the Square was shot during a robbery attempt. The suspect a 13 year old juvenile got away but was found in one of the City Parks and taken into custody. WBRY will update this story as more information becomes available. Ferrell was transported to the Stones River Hospital for treatment of his injuries but is expected to fully recover.
