Mrs. Juanita Langrell, 80, passed away on March 27, 2018. She was a native of Rutherford County, born on October 1, 1937. She is survived by three daughters, Penny (Allen) Corlew, Beth Edwards, and Tina (Scott) Mosley; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Buster” Gilley and Christine Haywood Gilley; husband, Robert Langrell; one son, Harry Eugene Edwards, Jr.; lifelong friend, Bessie Lovvorn. She was one of 15 siblings.
Mrs. Juanita was a hard worker at any task she took on. Over the years she worked in many different jobs, including Samsonite. She liked to work in her garden and go fishing. Enjoyed living life to the fullest. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest love and joy of all was her family.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4-8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of service. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Smith Funeral Home chapel at 11 am. Greg Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Brewer, Dalton Brewer, Jessie Warrick, Isaac Smotherman, David Murphy, and Dakota Gilley.
