Jackie Claude Pemberton, 64, of Woodbury passed away from injuries substained in a auto accident, Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born in Cannon Co and graduated from Woodbury Central High School.
He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Pemberton; granddaughter, Keely “Reba” Pemberton; fiancé, Suzy “Sam” Mathews; sister, Karen (Randy) Melton;
nieces and nephew, Emily “Emie Brooke” (Derrick) Elgin and Matthew Pemberton; Crystal Black and Britany Palmieri.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Clark; brother, Michael Pemberton and nephew, Justin Pemberton.
Jack was a member of the Church of Christ and owner/operator of JMP Land and Cattle Co. If you knew Jack, you knew that he was a real cowboy and he was honored to be named “Legend of the Trail” by SSHBEA. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family. Jack was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back.
Funeral Services will be 6 pm Sunday, October 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 1 pm until time of service.
A private graveside service will be held. Pallbearers include, Matthew Pemberton Derrick Elgin, Michael Matthews, Matthew and Jacob Young and John Blair.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Young and Kevin Reese.
