Could Stan Dobson be voted back into the Administrator Election position? That question might finally get answered tonight during the November meeting of the Cannon County Election Commission. After certifying the November 6th election tonight, the Commission will address and confirm the position of Administration of Elections Interim Administrator Dorinda Mankin’s position expires following the Election Certification and the Commission will hear from Stan Dobson and his lawyer in consideration of the lawsuit regarding his termination. In other items on the agenda the Commission will reconsider and move to adopt the mission statement of commission as well as reconsider and move to adopt the written policy for “Points of Contact” for future commission contacts with outside agencies, departments or persons, in order to minimize confusion and errors regarding official positions of Election Commission. The meeting starts tonight at 5:30 at the Cannon County Courthouse.
