Supposedly hiding money from his wife resulted in a domestic disturbance call to the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department recently. According to Cannon County Sheriff Department Reports, Deputies were dispatched to a Hurricane Creek Road residence and upon arrival spoke with Ms Heather Hopkins. She stated that she and her husband Chris were arguing over money that he supposedly was hiding from her then after arguing he left. Deputies stated that Ms. Hopkins appeared to be intoxicated but they could not smell any type of intoxicant coming from her. Ms. Hopkins was told to have her husband come to the sheriff’s department or call the officer so a statement could be gotten from him as to what happened. Ms. Hopkins added during their argument they both threw knives which got stuck in the wall. She stated neither threatened the other with the knives. Investigation is continuing.
