If you’ve had thoughts about becoming a foster parent, you are encouraged to attend tonight’s Foster Parent Orientation from 6 to 8 PM at the Northside Baptist Church in McMinnville. Northside Baptist Minister and foster parent Michael Carr is hosting the orientation for the public. The orientation will be a question and answer session to help answer concerns that some potential foster parents my have. Anyone interested in attending the meeting or wanting more information on foster parenting may call him at 931-212-1810. The meeting counts toward the training time required by the Department of Children’s Services to become a foster parent.
