Cannon County farmers and ranchers and anyone else that is interested are invited to attend a public meeting today starting at 4:00 this afternoon till 6 tonight at the Woodbury Lions Club Building 630 West Lehman Street in Woodbury. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposal to consolidate the Cannon Farm Service Agency County office with the Dekalb or Warren County Farm Service Agency thus closing the doors on the Cannon County FSA office The meeting is hosted by the Tennessee Farm Service Agency Management team and will be the only public meeting held to take public comment on the USDA’s proposed plan. All comments will be taken into full consideration prior to development or implementation of a final consolidation plan.
