Early Voting begins today for the March 6th Presidental Primary and the County Republican Primary. Early Voting will be held at the Cannon County Election Commission Office at 301 West Main Street Room 244. Early voting times will be Monday thru Friday from 9:30A to 12:30 p.m through Feburary 28th. Special hours will take place February 23rd from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. The office will also be open for Early Voting on two Saturdays Feb 18th and the 25th from 9A to 12 noon.
Presidential Preference Primary Presidential Candidates include Michelle Bachmann, Gary Johnson, Charles Buddy Roemer, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Jon Huntsman, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum. Several Delegates At Large and Sixth Congressional District Delegates to vote for. On the local front in the Cannon County Republican Primary will be County Commissioner 4th District Rebekah Hindman Parton and in the Assessor of Property Keith Morris.
