A Woodbury woman who failed to maintain lane control and struck a street curb several times in front of a Murfreesboro police officer was arrested over the weekend. 48 year old Betty Love was charged with DUI Saturday night after police stopped her on South Rutherford Blvd. According to Murfreesboro Police reports, Love attempted to cover up her slurred speech and inability to stand on her own two feet as a result of her being diabetic. After being transported to the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital emergency room, Ms. Love admitted having taken an unknown amount of prescription medication. Officers searched Love’s purse and found 13 Loritab and 18 Soma Pills Ms. Love was transported from the E.R. to the Rutherford County jail for booking. In addition to DUI charges, Love was also charged with possession of schedule 3 and possession of schedule 4 drugs
