Judy Carolyn Donegan Wagner

Mrs. Judy Carolyn Donegan Wagner, 70, of Woodbury passed away on August 18, 2018 with her family at her side.  She was born in Shelbyville, TN on January 10, 1948.  Her parents were the late Leaman Donegan and Gladys Marie Allen Donegan.  She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Wagner.She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wagner; sons, Chris (Melissa) Wagner of Smyrna and Greg (Amy) Wagner of Woodbury; daughter, Pamela (Jeff) Wagner Stewart of Manchester; sisters, Peggy (Bobby) Snipes of Woodbury and Darlene (Bob) Totty of Readyville; fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and another great grandchild expected soon.
Although she was born in Shelbyville, she and her family moved to Woodbury when she and her sisters were still young.  She graduated Woodbury Central High School in the Class of 1966.  Not long after graduation, she met her future husband.  They were looking forward to celebrating 48 years together in October.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  Judy joined Tom while he was in the service in West Germany, but while at home in the states, she stayed active with her children’s school and church activities.  She was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. 
She also enjoyed traveling with her family.  Some of the places she enjoyed most were Gatlinburg, Florida, and Colorado.  When she was not busy with the kids, she found time to read books on nature and crafts.  Christmas was a special time to her and part of her love for it was the image of snowmen.  She had an extensive collection of snowmen figurines, which her family lovingly kidded her about.  Among her other interests was gardening.  Judy also had a deep concern for animals, especially her own pets.

Grady Seldon George, Sr.

Grady Seldon George, Sr., age 95, of Woodbury passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center.  Grady was born on October 25, 1922 to the late Sammy & Jennie Tate George in the Gassaway Community of Cannon County.

Grady was a member of the Methodist Church and was a farmer.  He was a Veteran of the Army where he was a Master Sgt. and served in World War II.  He was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  Mr. George was a member of the Cannon County Walking Horse Association & the Cannon County Soil Conservation.
 
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Frelan George, Bobby Nichols, & David George officiating.  Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 20, 2018 from 2 PM to 9 PM. 
 
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

David Anthony Wilson

Mr. David Anthony “Tony” Wilson, age 60, of Bradyville, TN went to be with the Lord with his family by his side Friday, August 17, 2018 after an extended illness. He was born in Hampton, VA to the late Albert Arnold and Vivian Bell Wilson. Tony’s father was in the military and the family traveled throughout the United States and France. He followed in the words of Jesus “love your neighbor.” Tony never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He would help whoever he could. He was a giver, not a taker. 
Tony is survived by his brother, Kenneth Wilson; brother-in-law, Mike Westbrook both of Bradyville; numerous cousins; and countless friends who supported him through his battle.
 
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 4:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Jerry Howard will officiate.

Hazel Nadine Fann Blair

Hazel Nadine Fann Blair, 79, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday. Survived by her daughter, Anna Blair Nichols; one brother, Joe Fann; two grandsons, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Retired from being a barber for 35 years.

Keith David Smith

Keith David Smith, 52, of Woodbury died suddenly August 13, 2018 from injuries following an auto accident on Halls Hill Pike.  
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hale Smith of Woodbury; daughter, Chelsea Smith of Woodbury; mother, Christine Lack Carter of Woodbury; granddaughter,  Alyiah Grace Smith; stepdaughter, Jessie Rasha Arnold; stepbrother, Russell Carter of Murfreesboro.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank David Smith and Stepfather, Maurice Carter.  Keith was a member of the Plainview Baptist church and worked in construction.

Geneva Marie Sparks Huddleston

Geneva Marie Sparks Huddleston, 88, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2018 in Nashville, Tn. of a short illness.  Geneva was born in Estille County, KY., the daughter of the late Daniel & Georgiann Lakes Sparks.She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Greg) Campbell of Woodbury; granddaughters, Sarah Bailey (Sean Studd), Ester (B.J.) Bobo and Erika Holmes; Grandsons, Douglas Holmes and Brett (Faye) Holmes; great grandchildren, Brandon Bailey, Jada Bobo, Emily & Kaitlyn Sparks and Joshua Holmes; dear friends, Pauline and Jim Fraley and special caregiver, Karen Bartlett.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Huddleston was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Douglas Huddleston, daughter, Marsha Holmes and son, Terry Huddleston. 
Geneva loved God and was a member of the Woodbury First Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Cannon County Senior Citizen Center since 2006.  Her faith was an inspiration to her family and her community.  She loved music, crocheting and visiting with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Anderson and her brother-in-law, Royce Huddleston officiating.

Kelly Joan Pike

Kelly Joan Pike, age 53, of Readyville passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Thomas Stones River ER.  She was a native of Winchester, Ontario, Canada. 
Survivors include her husband, G. Richard Pike, Jr. of Readyville; Brother, Harold Heuff of Ft. Lauderdale; Sister, Nancy Chrisman of Ocala; Mother-in-law, Jeanette Pike of Dallas, GA; and Brother-in-law, Alan (Deborah) Pike of Dallas, GA.  She is also survived by numerous friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Heuff & Joan Allison Heuff.
 
Kelly worked in management at PFG in Lebanon.  She enjoyed her orchids and working in her garden.  She loved boating, fishing, and anything to do with being outside.

Willie Adron Smithson

Willie Adron Smithson, 79, of Manchester passed away Tues., July 31, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford following an extended illness.  He was a native of Cannon Co. 
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Melina Lewis Smithson of Manchester; sons, Paul (Robin) Smithson of Manchester and Brad (Laurie) Smithson of Murfreesboro; 7 Grandchildren, Caleb (Amelia) Smithson, Jacob, Katie, Jedidiah, Brooke, Lara Kate & Luke Smithson; 2 Great Grandchildren,  Gwen & Maddie Smithson; siblings, Myrna (Jackie) Rogers and Arna (Teena) Smithson both of Woodbury. 
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Annie Merriman Smithson.
 
Mr. Smithson was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ in Tullahoma, the Woodbury Lions Club and the Volkswagen Club. He was a veteran of the Army during Korea and retired grocery store owner.

Carolyn Parham Bush

Carolyn Parham Bush, 73, of Bradyville passed away at her home on Sunday, July 29, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Bush.   
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Craig) Nichols of Woodbury, Melissa (Alan) Norton of Manchester and Jason (Amanda) Bush of Bradyville; grandchildren, Kelsie Nichols, Gabe Cyree, Conley (Skylar) Cyree, Jasmine Bush and Austin Bush; brothers, Donnie Parham, Gary (Beverly) Parham, Sammy (Edna) Parham all of Manchester, Terry (Diane) Parham of Bradyville and Sydney (Wanda) Parham of Morrison and her sister, Rita Parham of Monteray. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Parham and Mary Jane McCormick; her husband, Roy L. Bush; brother, Joe Parham; nephew, Jimbo Parham and niece, Tina Parham.
 
Carolyn was a member of Living Springs church and was retired from Honeywell.  She loved spending her time with her family, buck dancing and listening to music.

Ray Morris Wimberly

Ray Morris Wimberly, 77, passed away, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Woodbury Health and Rehab.  He was a native of Cannon County. 
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan F. Wimberly of Bradyville; son, Ray Daniel (Kelly) Wimberly of Woodbury; granddaughter, Lacy Nicole (Landon) Hunt of Hillsboro; great grandson,  L.J. Hunt of Hillsboro; sister, Judy Mooneyham of Woodbury and nieces, Christy Mooneyham, Kim McPeak and Terri (Jason) Tenpenny.  Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euclid and Estes DeBerry Wimberly; his brother, Douglas Wayne Wimberly and brother-in-law, Glen Hoyte Mooneyham.
 
Morris was a member of the Baptist church and was a factory worker.  He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and loved his family.  He was also a member of the National Guard for 6 years and the Cannon Co. Senior Center.
 
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday, July 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.
