Cannon Man Arrested Twice In Three Days

A Cannon County man has been arrested twice in a three days span by two different law enforcement agencies.  Last Friday Woodbury Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham responded to a call at Stage Road Manor Apartments and according to police reports found Donald Wayne Smith on the premises after being told numerous times not to be.  After it was discovered he was intoxicated, Chief Mooneyham arrested him and charged him with trespassing.  After arresting him and transporting him to the Cannon County Jail, the corrections officer searched him.  It was then 3 marijuana cigarettes along with rolling papers were found in his possession.  He was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Smith made bond only to find himself back in jail two days later.  Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney Sunday observed Smith driving erractically on Jim Cummings Hwy.  After pulling him over Smith failed the field sobriety tests and was charged with Driving Under The Influence 6th offense.  Smith also made bond on the charge.
