The Cannon County Good Ole Days is this upcoming weekend. The schedule of events has been released. The festival which takes place around the courthouse square and benefits the Cannon County Senior Center will start Friday at 12:00 with Senior Citizen activities. On Friday from noon to 12:30 will be the Senior Center Choir, followed by Senior Bingo from 12;30-1:30. Senior Events will take place from 1:30-2:30 while school events are at Dillon Park from 1-2:30 Friday afternoon. There are plenty of pageants during the two day event as Senior Ms. Pageant will be held from 2:30-3:00. After that Awards will be given to the 4-H members in the Trash to Treasure contest. Entertainment will be provided by the Ballroom dancers from 3:30-3:45 and the Cripple Creek Review Band will be on the center stage from 3:45-4:45. The second of three pageants for the first day will begin at 5:00 with the Jr. Miss Pageant taking place. 6:45-7:15 will be the Cumberland Presbyterian Revival while Miss Teen Good Ole Days Pageant will start at 7:30. The Porter and Nokes Band will windup the first day of Good Ole Days with an hour and a half long concert.
