A 39 year old Bradyville woman has been accused of accidentally running over a pedestrian in the Murfreesboro area. The accident occurred on Highway 70 last Thursday
According to wgnsradio.com The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that Heather Kreitzman was driving a Toyota Corolla near Mt. Herman Road when she hit a man walking across the roadway.
39 year old James Pitts, Jr. was struck and killed by the small Corolla and evidence collected at the scene shows that he was likely drinking prior to crossing in front of Kreitzman. Blood alcohol content test have been ordered, but not yet released.
The Bradyville mother had two small children in the car with her at the time of the accident. The children who were not injured are ages 5 and 7. A police report showed that she was not believed to have been drinking or using any type of a drug prior to the accident. However, she has since been charged with failing to show proof of insurance and driving without a license.
