Betty Sue Gilley Chumbley, 81, of Woodbury passed away at her home Mon., February 03, 2020 following an extended illness. She was a native of Cannon Co.
She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Charles) Yancy of McMinnville, Karen Tigert of Woodbury and Ellen (Thomas) Mears of Woodbury; grandchildren, Scarlett (Michael) Graham, Nicole Mears and Candace (Charlie) Rockhart; great grandchildren, Hayden & Carter Rockhart; siblings, Charles Gilley of Murfreesboro, Patsy George of Woodbury and Peggy Couch of McMinnville and special caregiver and friend, April Ferrell of Woodbury.
Ms. Chumbley was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Tennie Ferrell Gilley; husband, Billy Chumbley and Brother, Alfred Gilley
A member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, Sue was a retired clerk at Colonial Corp. She loved to quilt and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Fri, 02/07/20 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am – 8 pm Thurs., February 06, 2020 and Friday from 10 am until her time of service.
