The Auburntown City Council met November 6, 2012 at 6:00 PM for their regular monthly meeting. The Mayor and all City Councilmen were present except Tina Fletcher and Beth Hancock. The previous month of October minutes were presented by the City Recorder for approval. The minutes were approved without question or change.
The Financial Report ending October 31st was presented and discussed. The report was approved as presented. The balance of funds was $39,561.11.
The Mayor distributed the Independent Auditor’s, 34 Page Annual Financial Report, for review and comments. Any questions that may need further review will be fully discussed at next month’s meeting.
The Mayor announced that he had been appointed to the Cannon County Library Board and was looking forward to working with this worthwhile endeavor.
Mr. Ryan Fletcher, Student at CCHS, US Government Class, taught by Mr. Freddy Curtis monitored this session.
The meeting ended some 30 minutes after beginning.
