Arts Center Seeking Framed Vintage Cannon County Family Photos For New Exhibit

Working with the Cannon County Historical Society, the Arts Center is seeking framed vintage family photos from the breadth of Cannon County families. The images will go on display in Cannon Hall at the Arts Center beginning in April 2015 and will conclude with a Closing Reception in October 2015. Images need to arrive framed, ready to hang. We will also collect information, as available, about the work which will be displayed with each picture: who, when, where, why and the name of each family’s current oldest and youngest living relative.
There is room for 60 images. Ideally, one image each from 60 families.
Portraits will be hung as soon as they arrive, beginning immediately. This will be a show in process; images will be added until Cannon Hall is out of space.
“Bringing Cannon ancestry together in one room will help tell the Cannon story,” said Neal Appelbaum, Executive Director of the Arts Center.
