The Woodbury Lions club released the results from the Donor Appreciation Blood Drive which was held on May 21st. The goal for the drive going into the event was the collection of 63 units. 85 donors signed in and out of those 85, 69 units were collected. Woodbury Lions Club member and chairman of the blood drives Carl Hirlston reported that there were three first time donors. Howard Witty gave his 192nd pint of blood bringing his total to 24 gallons of blood donated during the blood drives. Steve Smith donated his 147th pint and Sandy Hollandsworth donated her 105th pint. The Woodbury Lions Club hosts the American Red Cross Blood Drives bi monthly throughout the year. The Woodbury Lions club will be holding their annual club officer installation and awards party tonight for Club members at the Woodbury Lions Club building.
