The commemoration of the 151st anniversary of the Battle Of Stones River is coming to a close. Activities Friday at the Heritage Center 225 West College Street in Murfreesboro will host Stones River National Battlefield Ranger Jim Lewis Friday from 11:30 in the morning till 1 in the afternoon. Lewis will give a talk at the Heritage Center about the Battle of Stones River followed by a walking tour of the Murfreesboro Public Square. Bring a lunch for the free lecture and tour.
